PURPOSE: The students will demonstrate knowledge of the foundations of American constitutional government and basic economic principles.
COURSE OUTLINE: The first week of school is dedicated to teaching & testing the Prince William County Code of Behavior. The Civics & Economics Course is comprised of 9 units, each followed by an Unit Test or Project. In May 2010, the students will take their Civics SOL- it will cover material learned last year & this year!
Students are REQUIRED to maintain an interactive notebook.
